Music moves me

I heard Rest Now Weary Soul on Xm Spa radio and was moved by it so bought the sheet music. It was 10 months after losing my wife to cancer and while parting from a recent friendship with a wonderful man before it went too far. Mixed emotions with a piece of music used as therapy.

Excellent! Simply Wonderful

This music is so beautiful and I enjoy it so much that I’ve nearly doubled my practice time just so I can really enjoy the music that I play. I’ve been a Chad Lawson fan since he started writing music for the Lore podcast with Aaron Mahnke. Who would have thought that the podcast would allow me to discover a composer who writes music that really inspires my joy practicing the piano!

Challenging but beautiful

I enjoy a challenge to keep me working on my piano skills at 68 years old, and this piece does just that. Hauntingly beautiful with lots of note changes, but not too difficult I can’t handle it - eventually. Thanks for sharing your beautiful pieces with us!

Ballade in c minor

Like the main melody, but don't like the intermittent time changes that show up. Makes playing awkward. Also, I've modified/simplified some of the embellishments that show up in the last section - too much of a good thing!
